Installing Discovery Admin Workspace in a PDI? How to remove the MS Teams Graph dependency?

Discovery Admin Workspace, and anything that depends on it, cannot be installed in a PDI, since the introduction of MS Teams Graph as a dependency.

When installing, "Discovery," through, "Manage my instance," the workspace is partly installed, but does not work.

See below:

The workspace itself thinks we can install it, and allows us to try:

However we cannot do so, since the MS Teams Graph Spoke became a dependency:

Any way around this, or how can it be reported as a bug?

Hi @SGienow

The installation of Discovery Admin Workspace fails in Personal Developer Instances (PDIs) because it depends on the Microsoft Teams Graph Spoke.

This spoke is a paid, enterprise-licensed application not supported or available in free developer environments

Installing the Discovery Admin Workspace in a Personal Developer Instance (PDI)  fails because it has a dependency on the Microsoft Teams Graph Spoke (sn_msteams_spoke), which is not  supported in PDI.

As per Discovery Admin Workspace  feature- Discovery notifications using Microsoft Teams - Enables you to receive discovery notifications via MS Teams.

Microsoft Teams Graph Spoke is NOT available for PDIs as it is a stored PAID app.

Microsoft Teams Graph Spoke dependencies

If you’re having trouble installing the app, confirm that these dependent plugins are installed:
  • ServiceNow Integration Hub Runtime (com.glide.hub.integration.runtime)
  • Flow Designer Model (com.glide.hub.designer_backend.model)
  • Complex Object (com.glide.cobject)
  • ServiceNow Integration Hub Action Step - REST (com.glide.hub.action_step.rest)
  • ServiceNow Integration Hub Action Template - Data Stream (com.glide.hub.action_type.datastream)
  • Remote Tables (com.glide.script.vtable)
  • ServiceNow IntegrationHub Action Step - Get Connection Info (com.glide.hub.action_step.get_connection_info)
