Is there a way to show a report on a catalog item as a link?

Hi All,

I have a requirement to add an attachment which is live ( Meaning: The user wants a list of approved and rejected tickets as a live report). Example: if the table is sc_req_item and there are approved, rejected and pending tickets. and the report is saved in knowledge and linked to a service catalog. So now when there is any newly updated record that needs to be added to the link automatically.

I tried to add it as a list which shows all the approved tickets list but in a list we can only show 100 as default and we have increased it to 200, But still think that it might increase in future so this approach was not working as per the requirement.

Please suggest me how this can be implemented.

Hi Praveen

You can create a content item and put a link there. Then add that to one of the catalog category.you can add that catalog category to the catalog

Instead of the attachment why don't you give a filtered link of the approval table.You can put that link on the catalog. SO user can click on this link and will get the live data always.No need of knowledge article also.

If you want to give the knowledge article, then add that link to knowledge article. And then you can put the link of knowledge article on the catalog. So user will click on this knowledge article which will take him to the related knowledge article and then there he can click on the link which will give the list of the approval records.

No i want that attachment in the Knowledge which gets updated every week with what ever changes are made to the report.

Seriously no one has a clue how to do it? Yes i dont know cause i am an admin, But to know that there isn't anyone who can do this??? Hahahahahahah
