hi team,
please refer the below screen shot even after having more than 5 categories in kb.....kb_view2 page is not showing me categories on portal page.....please tell me where am going wrong.

Hi
Maybe you do not have any KB Articles yet in these categories, and therefore the stay hidden.
If the number of articles is ZERO, it may not be relevant to show them.
Did you try to capture articles in those categories and try if the will apear afterwards in the Service Portal.
Just let me know, if that worked and mark as correct or helpful.

Are you using OOB category KBv3 widget or the custom one?

am using the original one is there any other way or do you hav e any idea how can i modify so i will clone and edit the widget

Clone the widget and put the logs and see whether does it retrieve any categores. OOB widget is working fine in personal dev. You can export the xml and import it your instancce and try

Can you make sure those categories have active published articles under them and valid to is right date.
