knowledge_admin role and Publishing article

Hello all,

We gave our IT users the knowledge_admin role because we thought they needed it to publish articles. We did not think one of our IT users would create a new knowledgebase, but they did. Which role do we need to give our IT that will allow them to publish articles, but prevent them from creating and/or altering knowledgebases? Do we need to create a user criteria and do something with it? Is there a different role (say knowledge_manager or something like that) that will allow them to publish, but not create new or alter knowledgebases? Tricky thing giving people roles they need and then someone abusing it.

Thank you, Charles

Hello @cgedney ,

Please use the role 'knowledge' to grant access to your IT users to create and publish knowledge articles only. This role doesn't permit you to create or update knowledge bases.

Thank you,
Saaniya
