Lookup Selectbox variable showing sysid of record

Hello Experts,

I have created a lookup select box type variable on catalog item that is referencing to sysapproval_approver table and I put 'Approver' field as lookup field (screenshot below) but after submission of catalog item, I was expecting to see 'Approver' name in that variable but instead I am seeing sysid of approval record. How can I make it display 'Approver' name instead of sys id of 'Approval' record?

I am seeing it like this after submission.

Any help is appreciated.

try giving approver in the lookup label field(s)

it worked for me with Lookup select box and it showed the approver on RITM variable editor
