Hi All,
I would like to know what is the purpose of a Maintenance Window ?
Today in SN if a Change Request is scheduled outside of a Maintenance Maintenance window it shows up as a conflict with Type of "Not in a Maintenance Window" I would like to show the type where the Conflict is "In a Maintenance window" or what other Options there are as far as the type of conflict.
Thnaks for your support.

Two types available: Maintenance Windows & Blackout Windows. Some may have specific time that server can be off-line for Maintenance or rebooted after Maintenance is complete. That would be the maintenance window for that device, or data-center, or customer. Blackout Windows are more like, no changes allowed over holiday time frame, or extended weekend, etc If no maintenance window is needed, you can uncheck options in Preferences:

You would need to define a Maintenance Window (look in navigation for Maintenance Window) for CIs, and a time frame, like 2am - 6am. Changes would have to be scheduled inside that window for your Change to be 'in Maintenance Window'.
