Hi All,
I would like to know what is the purpose of a Maintenance Window ?
Today in SN if a Change Request is scheduled outside of a Maintenance Maintenance window it shows up as a conflict with Type of "Not in a Maintenance Window" I would like to show the type where the Conflict is "In a Maintenance window" or what other Options there are as far as the type of conflict.
Thnaks for your support.

Hi Dominik .. I am currently on ROME and looking for basically the same thing that Sunny asked for. I want the Conflict Detector to show when a Change Request falls "In a Maintenance Window". This will help us track those Change Requests that we want to perform during the Maintenance Window.
Let me know if ServiceNow has considered this as a viable/reasonable customer request for enhancement of the Conflict Detector.
thanks,

Hi Sunny .. I too am looking for the Conflict Detector to identify Change Requests that fall "In a Maintenance Window". Is there an option to include this?
Please advise. Thanks,

Sunny
I have a similar question. We recently upgraded to Kingston from Helsinki.
On our Normal Change Request, the confict is fired / added when a Service or Configuration Item is NOT in Maintenance Window.
Our Change Control Manager is asking if we could trigger an additional conflict for the following conditions:
a. Scheduled during maintenance Window AND
b. Expedite flag is true.
Call it something like Expedited during Maintenance Window.
Is this possible?
Thank You
