Hi,

We are doing setup for Notify Connector Plugin using the document provided by ServiceNow Docs https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/vancouver-employee-service-management/page/product/notify2/...

While following the document i have few doubts, what is the difference between "Setup for integrating pre-published apps with Microsoft Teams" and "Setup for integrating self-configured apps with Microsoft Teams".

screenshot took from the page https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-employee-service-management/page/product/sn-teams/conce...

Hi @anvitha ash ,

Pre-published apps are applications that are developed and provided by ServiceNow or third-party vendors and are available through the ServiceNow Store.Pre-published apps are designed to work "out of the box" with minimal configuration. You can install them and start using them without extensive development work.

Self-Configured Apps:

  • Self-configured apps, on the other hand, refer to custom applications created by your organization within the ServiceNow platform. These are built to meet your specific business requirements and are configured according to your unique processes.
  • These apps are developed and configured by your own ServiceNow developers. They are tailored to your organization's specific needs and workflows likebelow

Please mark it as solution proposed and helpful if it serves your purpose.

Hello @Anand Kumar P Thank you for sharing your response

Unlike Now Virtual Agent, we have Joule in place, I am not sure if this falls under pre-configured or self-configured apps

Hi @anvitha ash,

You have to check with your organisation IT team how they have configured.

Thanks,

Anand
