We are building out our Categories/Subcategories and have a few scenarios to were a software (Subcategory) has multiple uses and is part of two Categories. Would this create an issue in the future? possibly reporting?
I was able to bring up the Dictionary Entry for Subcategories and confirmed that the Choice list shows the duplicate value(software) but the Dependent value is showing correctly as they match the corresponding Category it was assigned to.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Danny Barker ,
You cand add your field category as a list field in your dictionary:
Your subcategory can be referenced to differents (one or more) categories, that can prevent to have duplicates values from subcategories referenced to categories.
Hope that help you

Thanks Marco0o1.
Are you saying that I would need to change the current Category field type from OOB String to List as seen below?
Will this cause issues with any other Categories/Subcategories or cause dependency issues?
As far as the Subcategory then able to be referenced to now multiple Categories, is this an option I would now be able to choose for the Subcategory choice list?
