Hi all,
I need some help here. I've created a report that looks at open incident tickets each hour and groups them by location (See below).
I would like the chart to look like this:
I feel like I'm so close, I just need help on finishing this up. What I need is to be able to change the x-axis so that it shows 5 minute increments for that hour (for example, 10:05, 10:10, 10:15, and so on) and lists the incident tickets opened in between those 5 minute increments for that hour. I believe I would use report ranges, but I could be wrong. I have never used report ranges before and there isn't much documentation on creating one from scratch.
Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Much appreciated!

On the application filter type "Ranges". If you are an admin that should take you to were you can create custom ranges. Create them for the table and field you need them and then, if you build your report the right way, it should display in a similar way to the example you posted.

I wish that was as easy as stated. I am an admin, and have created several ranges. none of which show up in the reporting module when building a new report. Where are folks supposed ot look for the ranges when building a report after the ranges have been created and saved?

Hi,
When I did this some time ago at this point, it turns out that you then build a report, and in the Trending section, you choose the field that you related to the ranges. For instance, if you created ranges that reference the Created field in an incident, you could then trend on the Created field, via average, sum, etc.; and it will now provide the range specs that you designed.
I hope this helps!
