Does anyone know how to disable the New UI Action/button in the list view of Service Operations Workspaces. For example, Requests -- We do not want users to create just a new sc_request record. We also don't want users to only create a SCTASK or a solo RITM record. I am a little confused at why ServiceNow has even made this an option. The only new record we want created from the SOW would be an Incident, Knowledge or Change record. I cannot figure out where this is configured in ServiceNow.
Thanks,
Jonathan

I was asked the same question about Request and determined on our instances that it was only the Admin that was seeing the NEW button.

Were you able to get anywhere with this? I have the same issue, and it is visible to regular itil users.

Hey I had the same Problem and found luckily the solution for this. The magic word is ACL. Go to the ACLs on sc_request table an adjust the ACL from type(Operation) "create" with your needed role (e.g. itil). Per default, there ist only the catalog_admin.
