Hello experts,

I am exploring the Record Producer module, and I noticed two fields: "No Order Field" and "Billable Field." I am not sure what is use of these fields  and how to use these fields. Can you please guide me on their use? Thank you.

Hi @Mark Wood ,

  1. No Order Field:

    • It decides whether a service or item should be part of a formal request order.
    • If set to "true," it means the request stands alone without creating an official order.
    • Useful for one-time or standalone requests that don't need formal order tracking.
  2. Billable Field:

    • It determines if a service or item generates costs or billing entries.
    • If set to "true," it means the request may result in expenses that need to be tracked for billing purposes.
    • Helpful for services that incur costs, like services that need to be billed to a department or customer.

Two fields allow you to control whether a request is part of a formal order and whether it generates costs or billing entries in your organization's service catalog.

Please mark it as helpful if it works.

Thanks,

Anand
