Notifications not triggering from an event: could another notification be blocking it?

Hello

I'm trying to trigger a notification to fire based on an event as seen below in the Flow Designer:

It would appear that while the event is processed, the notification that is triggered from the event is not firing, and I note that there are other notifications that are indeed firing for this record (this is on insert of a record).  I've also noticed that the notification I created from this event is of the Global application scope, while the notifications that are firing are of the Human Resources Core scope.

Could it be possible that the HR core notifications are actually blocking my custom notification from firing?  Unfortunately due to cross scope issues, I am unable to disable the HR core notifications, so I will need to speak to someone about this as due to cross scope restrictions, I am unable to modify the HR core notification itself.

Hi @tahnalos ,

Try adding value to the Weight field on the notification record the event is called for a check.

the system only sends the notification with the highest weight. All other notifications are moved from the Outbox to the Skipped mailbox. The default value 0 causes the system to always send the notification (assuming the conditions are met).

Thanks,
