notify the Requestor’s Manager, and cc the Requested For

I created a workflow but my requirement is notify the Requestor’s Manager, and cc the Requested For. 

My questions are:

1. How will a cc in notification at workflow?

2. How can I have email template in notification at workflow? I remember if I used sysevent_email_action , I can choose template and i always pick Employee notification template. How can I do that at workflow?

Hi,

You may want to use Flow designer instead of workflow for this purpose.

Under FD, there are two action options for notifications.

a. Send Email - define email recipients, subject etc. directly and send email from FD

b. Send Notification - call an existing notification from FD. This option may suit your needs as an email template could be attached to the notification

I am not familiar with workflow designer yet, If i am going to use that, does it mean i need to go back from the start?

Yes and you may want to do it for two reasons.

a. Workflow is legacy concept and the way forward is Flow designer

b. Working on a flow is much simpler compared to workflow and so I strongly suggest you check the documentation on Flow designer
