We have an OoO field and a return date on our users profiles
We can set manually or if we receive an email from your indicating you are Out Of Office we can update your profile
Of course, clearing that if you said you were away until the end of April and come back early is a little hard, so we want to put an indicator up on the screen for a process user, on the CMS portal or Service Portal so that it makes it clear your OoO is set and maybe you should look to clear it

Hi Julian,
It shouldn't be too difficult to write a quick little widget that displays a character or button that checks the current user's profile and displays some indicator if the OOO is turned on. Without in-depth details of how your OOO system is built, it's difficult to provide any technical direction.

But here the catch would be when to turn off the OOO flag. Is outlook sending the date range as well along with automatic reply message to servicenow?
