Hi @dj6ilSA ,

I think that all have experienced from time to time that their PDI is unavailable due to unscheduled maintenance. According to this, and according to that their is no support available from ServiceNow in relation. To PDIs, you’re limited to two options:

  • wait, it should come online again
  • Release your instance and request a fresh installation.

If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as accepted solution and give a thumb up.

Anders,

I am experiencing this very same issue myself related to a brand new PDI I created yesterday and am now receiving the message "Service Interruption: This instance is unavailable today". A mere 24 hours or less since creating the PDI!

With that said, after reading the only two options you posted, it does not say how long someone should wait before considering option #2. Hours, days?

Have you or someone you know ever experienced this? Did the PDI come back within a reasonable time?

Thanks

Mark

Hi @MarkD67

There is no time line and no one knows when instance will be back or may be not back.

As no support available on PDI from sN  so now you can either wait or get a new instance.

Hi @MarkD67 ,

There is no specific timeframe, so  I can't unfortunately not say. Basic is, when you get tired of waiting, then release and request a fresh installation.
