PDI waitlist

Hi, I have been on the waitlist for a Personal Developer Instance for about one week. My Developer Portal still shows No instance is assigned yet and You’ll receive an email as soon as one is available. Could someone confirm if this is expected, or if there is anything I can do to get access to a PDI? Thank you.

Hello @ericadurzu

Yes, this is currently expected behavior.

ServiceNow has been experiencing high demand for Personal Developer Instances (PDIs), which is also indicated by the banner on the Developer Portal.

Unfortunately, there is no way to bypass the waitlist or manually provision a PDI. Once capacity becomes available, an instance will be assigned automatically and you will receive an email notification.

At this point, the best option is to remain on the waitlist and monitor your email and Developer Portal for updates. Some users have reported waiting several days or even longer during periods of high demand.

Hopefully, capacity frees up soon and you receive your instance.

Thank You!

how long it took for you ? is there a general guideline

Hi @ChetG

The expected waiting time isn't documented anywhere. Depending on the request provision, it can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks.

Same reported by many community members.

Due to high demand following a new platform family release, PDI pools for the Australia version are currently experiencing errors or waitlisting. These days lots of similar issue reported.

I will suggest you to Wait  for PDI request to be provisioned if it is already waitlisted.  Do not cancel your request, as you will lose your spot.

Support is not available for PDI .

Note:You can try releasing your current request and requesting an earlier version (e.g., Zurich ), as they may have more availability . But Community members reported that there is also having waitlist issue.
