What would be the best way to print Knowledge Articles in ITIL and Service Portal?

Is Printer friendly icon is the only option or can print button be added to individual KB Article ?

How to print Knowledge Articles in ServiceNow


  1. Go to the Knowledge Article you want to print
  2. Then select System Setting in upper right corner

      3. Select Printer friendly version

    4. Right click you mouse bottom

    5. Chose print

    6. Vupti, now you are able to print, just as you are used to including the picture etc.





I hope this solution also works for you and other facing printing problems 🙂

While that works on the back-end, there does not seem to be a way to print knowledge articles from the Portal

I found this thread helpful in printing knowledge articles from the Service Portal. The solution is to add a Print button to the KB Article widget.

Can this be done in the end user (Employee View) instead of the back end fulfiller view?
