Problem: removing shopping cart on catalog item in the portal

hey all,

I want to remove the shopping cart of a catalog item in the portal and replace it with a simpel submit button.

we want the use the catalog item instead of a record producers for the added OOTB functionalities.

can somebody help me?

Hi Ya,

Take a look at the following community post - How to remove "Add to Cart" button from Service Catalog page

Gives you instructions on how to disable shopping carts.

Go to maintain cart layout > Target type: Browser Widget (3) > Item Ordering Widget > Buttons

uncheck Add To Cart button & save it.

Hi, 

In the catalog itself it works like i want it to work. see below. 

But ordering the same on the portal I still have the same as yesterday...???
I want to remove the quantity and the add to cart button. and if possible changing the the order Now button to submit. 

Also i want to skip the order confirmation step if possible.

Hi Ya, Hold CTRL and right click on the "Add to cart" button on the Service Portal. This will bring up the widget options. You should be able to disable the add to cart option there. Brent
