Query on Knowledge Workflow

Hi All,

We have a Custom knowledge workflow as 'ENB Knowledge - Approval Publish' and in out of the box we have 'Knowledge - Instant Publish' workflow too.

So even if I add the custom knowledge workflow to the knowledge base it is instantly getting published which should not happen. Workflow should get attached based on the workflow selected on the Knowledge Base. 

What are the conditions that I need to put in the workflow properties?

Could you please help me on this?

@Joshuu Based on your use case that you have shared,

1. How are the approvals triggered (i.e.,) user or user's manager or group?

2. Are the user (approver) records active?

If its getting published instantly even after you have the approval to be triggered, it means the activity is getting skipped. 

Kindly share the custom workflow screenshot and the failed scenarios to provide more assistance.
