"Number" field is displaying as empty

Hello,

I have a problem with my number field, it is displaying as empty when it should be auto-populating (see pictures below).

As you can see, I have the default value for this column set as javascript:getNextObjNumbePadded();. I also have the default value set in the number field dictionary. I am baffled as to why this is happening, any help would be appreciated.

open the table and go to the "Controls" tab and see "Auto -number " check box has set as true or not.

Note: on your table Set auto- number field as true then it will populate the number.
