Record Producer client script does not apply to target record

Hi,

I am on Jakarta patch 2 and now you can apply the catalog client script to the target record.   But I am not able to get this to work.   I created a catalog client script on the record producer and checked the box, but it's not working on the target record.   It works just fine for the catalog item.

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

so you created catalog item and trying to apply the catalog client script on RITM/CTASK table, right ? if yes it shoul work, then check console for any errors

if not then catalog client script does not work on target tables of record producer since SN provides only 2 checkbox to apply on RITM and TASK

On the catalog client script of a record producer, SN has a checkbox to apply to target record.   An article in the community says that this applies to any table that extends from the Task table.   Difference between Istanbul and Jakarta release

• Applies on Target Record — check box available in the Catalog UI Policies and Catalog Client Scripts submodules. It provides full feature support for variable editors on records created via record producers (only for task-extended tables).

So it would seem that it should work.   Not sure why it won't.

Hi Phuong,

Make   sure on the catalog client script form you have below marked as true.

IF not get these fields added to the form from Form layout & then mark it as true.
