You can use the relative filter for date fields to specify any amount of time. For example, the below report will show all incidents that are not 'Closed', and were created over 7 days ago.

There are a couple of differences.
My filter shows the incidents that were created before 7 days ago. So, incidents that were created before June 17 if it was run on June 24.
Your filter shows the incidents that were created on June 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, or 24 if it was run on June 24.
But that's just a matter of which options were selected.
The relative option just adds flexibility. For example, I don't think you'll find an option for "Last 22 days" or "Last 133 days". The relative option allows you to decide the interval of time when you cannot find a pre-made interval like "Last 7 days".
