Hi,
I'm having to implement resource management quickly to help cope with the whole COVID thing. I'm struggling.
I've updated the default resource planning schedule and confirmed that the schedule is there and fits the times I need (i.e. so the total weekly availability should be 37.5 hours).
I've updated the default schedule on the user record and the default time sheet policy (just in case) AND set the the FTE to 7.5 on the user record.
Then I've used the "Update Resource Capacity" UI action on the user form and selected 10 years ago as the start date and 10 years hence as the end date and when I then go to the resource workbench, the users are showing as 0 capacity per week and 0 availability (obviously).
Frustratingly, I had one use showing the right amount if capacity at one point but adjusting settings and refreshing seems to have cleared it out.
If I try to "Add New" resource plan from the workbench I get the error message:
Cannot create Requested Allocations as there are no working days in the schedule for the plan date range
Which indicates that the schedule is not there or that the schedule is incorrect. This is the same schedule we use for nearly everything and I've checked through the settings and even updated the child schedule for UK bank holidays.
What else needs to be updated to allow the capacity calulation to work??

I created a new schedule and assigned it in all the right places, refreshed capacity and it all came in right meaning my default schedule is wrong. I think it is the child schedule for holidays that is causing the issue.
Any ideas why?
