I'm having issues with RITMs not showing in global search in Workspace:
Meanwhile they do show in Management:
I have added sc_req_item into the text search group:

That gave me a clue! I'm using agent workspace.
The solution was to include sc_req_item into the Agent Workspace Search Config:
