I have created a scheduled report, it supposed to show the open tickets from oldest created one to newst one and group it by assigned to.the report itself works and the scheduled job also works it does sent the email with the report. the problem is that the excel it sends with the report is not organized by opned date nor is it grouped by assigned to. you know why this might be? how can i fix it?

@sola2 This cannot be achieved directly via excel export in servicenow. But you have this Amazing "Data filter" feature in Excel itself. You can use this and "group by" issue can be resolved from there itself.
But for sorting, I would recommend export excel in the exact sorted way you want. Because that cannot be achieved even via excel tool. For logic, if you sort any column, only that column will be sorted in Excel and other columns won't rearrange, so data will be wrong completely.
However, for group by, data filter will definitely help.

your report image is not clear.
You can configure the scheduled report and send it as excel etc but that excel won't consider the grouping.
It will simply show all the rows in excel which satisfy the report filter condition
what's your issue?
1) Scheduled report triggers but file is empty
2) Scheduled report triggers and sends file but user/group not receiving
