SERVICE OPERATIONS WORKSPACE

we are trying to make service operations workspace as the default landing page for set of specific Roles in servicenow

Only those roles users should have their landing page shown as service operations workspace

I have tried below options but it didn't worked

1. user preference creating home navigation and pointing to /now/sow/home

2 system property creations

3 adding roles to workspace ui

4 trying creating a custom business rule for setting landing page

All these didnt worked for me

Please advice early reponse will be much appreciated

Except one user beth anglin for others same problem even after cache cleanup

it goes to default page sysid only for her its goes to SOW page as per code

i have tried again removing all roles from users added in the group and just adding one role ITIL in group but still few users have access t landing page --it seems we need to set up some permission or may be some role mapping etc please suggest

@DK36  - please navigate to https://[instance].service-now.com/sys_ux_page_element_m2m_role_list.do, check if there's a record for your landing page and what roles/groups have access to it

i see the below mapped to sn_incident read role

do i need to add mine here The page we trying to access landing page is Service operations workspace /now/sow/home

One interesting thing i noticed as soon i gave ITIL role to my Group then it starting working But what if we have only end user role for some groups members who want to see this as landing page
