Service Portal - Individual Catalog Category pages

Hi,

On our new service portal home page we want to have links which will take us to specific service catalog categories,

eg one for "IT stuff", one for "facilities", one for "business services" etc,

I've created an icon link on the home page with the type = category and then specified the category needed, eg facilities.

then I linked it to a new page which had a pretty picture and the catalog content widget thinking the link from the home page would set the specific category to display but it doesnt, so how do I get my "facilities" page to only have "facilities" catalog items?

thanks in advance!

(attachments shows icon link widget config from home page, and resulting page with catalog content widget showing all categories)

Hi - i managed to do this by changing the page I was going to to a clone of the sc_category page rather than the sc_landing page and then just did some tidying up from there.

Thank you to all who offered advice and help.

Can you add screenshots ? and mark what you do not want to see.?

This is the page which opens and the highlighted catalog categories are some of the ones we don't want to see - there is basically all of them.

I think this has something to do with your page design , looks like the widget renders all categories, will you be able to click a category and see only that , Whats the url when you see only a single category ?

hi,

so I opened the page and clicked just on the facilities category and got this URL

https://<instancename>.service-now.com/gs?id=sc_category&sys_id=d25201c8c611227a00667da13c6d33af
