Hello all,

Appriciate feedback on the below:

My company is doing a new ServiceNow ITSM implementation, trying to understand a few best practices,

When cloning the Dev instance to Test and Prod, is it normal to copy the users? We are using Azure for provisioning, will this generate any conflict?

Best Regards

Hello Atul,

Thank you for your reply, so even on a new installation the best approche is to pick up user provisioned scaling down from Prod to Dev?

I will watch your video in the mean time.

Hi @Joao Manuel Gue

If it is fresh , means vanila version, then why we need cloning? We do cloning when we go for upgrades or need data on lower instances.

Hello Atul,

Good question, this is being suggested by the implementation team as a best practice, I believe they want to keep group structure and organization, just trying to see if this is accurate of it it brings any issues, when we turn user provisioning on following instances, Test and Prod.

Thank you for your help.
