SOW List configuration group by column

We created a new list category and several new lists in that category. The lists are are based on the Task table and have task type as the group by column. The lists are displaying correctly in SOW except the data is not grouped; that is, all appropriate tasks are listed with no grouping. The grouping appeared to work when there was a single list in the category but when I added a second list to the category, the grouping disappeared.
Does grouping not work with lists in SOW?

I don't recall doing anything specific for this but it appears to be working correctly in Vancouver. We are having trouble getting folks to use SOW though. They find it awkward and inefficient so SOW hasn't been a high priority for some time.
