We implemented SSO. What I observed is, after logging out/closing the browser completely and then open the browser, enter ServiceNow url, its asking to choose/enter the email id (but not password).
Why its asking for email ID upon each log out and login? This never happened in previous SSO set up's that I have done.
Is this a setting to be changed in ServiceNow or at IdP? Anyone knows? please let me know.
Thanks in advance!!!!!

Hi @Suggy
Is it asking you to enter the username on servicenow page or on the sso identity provider page?
if its asking on the sso provider page, then SN doesn't have any control over the behaviour of sso page.
If its asking on the SN - instance/login_locate_sso.do page, then you may want to set up the auto redirect IDP? That will redirect you as soon as you hit the instance url.
LMK if this helps.
Cheers!

@dgarad No, I am 100% its something to do with configuration but I am not knowing where to configure that. I have updated my question with more details.

Hi @Suggy,
when asked for the email, try to insert some garbage email (e.g. nobody@nowehere.org) or your colleague's email (with their consent) to see if the SSO will allow only the authorised users...

@GlideFather Entering invalid data/colleagues email ID will not login.
Only if I enter/choose my email, it works. If I clear cookies, it will ask me to enter the password also.
