Standard change proposal needs assignment group to be the first approvers

Hello,

with our Standard change proposal we have a field that asks what assignment group will be approve the proposal before it goes to the change managers. I am having an issue having them parse that information from the proposal to the post proposal page and have the initial group approvers be asked for approval first.

Mate you need to write the script

Go to System Policy > Rules > Assignment and you should find one listed for the std_change_proposal table. Open this and you should be able change the default Assignment group.

no sir, The proposal page before that, where you would add your variables that will be going into all your standard changes. We added that field that says "Template approval manager assignment group"

My customers are very adamant about not using that field you show. They want that field in my screen shot to be the place that they get the approval.
