Subscriptions to Knowledge Base and Knowledge Articles on different portal showing in subscription widget

We have several Customer Service Management public facing portals within one SN instance. When a logged in user subscribes to KBs or KAs on one portal and then accesses the Notification and Subscription widget (cloned Subscription and Notification Pref) on another portal, all subscribed KAs and KBs show up even though they aren't available on the current portal. Errors arise if the user clicks one of the links due to access restrictions. If we make all KBs available on all portals, it will skew the search results to KBs not needed.

Would like to do one of two things:

1. Only show KBs and KAs related to the current portal, or

2. Have the link take the user to the portal where the KB/KA resides.
