Hi Community,
I have developed a Brazil Master data new catalogue form and moved it tests.
Now they are testing about my development (new catalog form how it works).
They raised a question. 'They have noticed that they are not receiving notifications during the tests. Will the notifications work in the PRD environment, or do we need to configure something for them to be activated?'.
Could you please help with the answer based on your experience?
Do i need to configure anything for that or will it work in prod environment?
Thanks & Regards,
Srinivasu

Yes, emails should work in prod if notifications are set properly and correctly
for Non - Prod instances
Navigate to Email Properties:
- In the left navigation pane, locate and click on "System Properties."
- Under "System," select "Email Properties."
Be careful while setting Email Properties. Subprop should have a test email address like below always.

Hi @Srinivasu2 Test instances is used for testing purpose only, email will not be sent as per production how ever you could add the users email id who wants to test emails as per Prod to your test instance and remove those emails from email property once they test successfully.

Hi @Srinivasu2 ,
No u don't need to do anything.
By default the checkbox will be enabled in prod.
Also don't add any emails in the field in prod as all emails will be directed there only no one else will receive it.
So from our side the suggestion is in Prod it will work fine. You don't need to do any changes
Mark my answer helpful & accepted if ur happy with answer.
Thanks,
Danish
