Time Sheet Portal Config

I am trying to change the category associated with tickets. For example, when you select add a time sheet on a SCTASK in the portal, it creates an entry and automatically assigns it to the "Task work" category. We would like to change this to a custom category and I cannot find where to make this change. I have made the changes internally and it works as expected but not in the portal. Thanks!!
