Tool to log investigation tasks and assign to people on bench

Hi all,

 

I hope you all are doing well.

I am thinking of utilising ServiceNow to log the investigations we need to do, document to update, things to handle.

The idea is then to utilise people on the bench to pick those up and investigate or take required action.

Obviously, the idea is to not add any license cost and be able to track these which will help people on the bench to have these during their performance evaluation.

 

What approach would you use to do this?

This all depends on your current license model and if the people on the bench are already using licenses or not. 

We can't tell if you can create an app for that, or even a custom table. 

Assuming nothing can be build for this and the bench-people don't have licenses: you can utilize some kind of current task table, opening a task on behalf of the bench-people, so they can view it on the portal.

You will need to provide more information for a better answer.
