I am trying to configure email notification. The Email gets trigger and I can see it on Email logs. However, the email is not getting sent. What is the problem. I have set the Email properties also.

Thank you for that clarification. Now the problem is, I need to test a reply email (based on reply I need to create a record). Any suggestions on how to test that?

Would it not be helpful if this information was added as a banner when the page to enable email sending/receiving is shown? It doesn't say anything about what the article says above which is why most of us are probably confused.

Completely correct to give a hint with banner or popup.
I wasted days of debugging while thinking I was the problem because everything worked before on older PDIs. Dear ServiceNow people, please what is this? Yes spam back and forth - set the "Send all email to this test email address..." so that you can ONLY send to a test account.
It is important that you receive the emails in your own company environment.
