Update Set did not change dictionary attribute.

Hi,

Can someone explain why this happened (or didn't happen)?

In Dev, I created an update set.   I added a report attribute to the attributes for the task table:

all_tables.detail_row=short_description,hasListeners=true,largeTable=true,hasLabels=true,extension_model=hierarchy,reference_index_include=active,calendar_elements=number;short_description;due_date

The Due Date now shows on all the task calendar that I created in Dev.

We retrieved and committed the update set in Prod.   The PROD task attribute still reads:

all_tables.detail_row=short_description,hasListeners=true,largeTable=true,hasLabels=true,extension_model=hierarchy,reference_index_include=active

I'm attaching the update set XML file.

Thank you!

I put in a Hi ticket.   They solved the problem. We had committed 2 updates in succession.   The order that we committed them caused the problem.   The solution was to revert to the correct update record. It worked after I the reverted customer update record.

Did you preview the update set? Did you see any error or warning on that customer update?

Hi Saritha,

Thanks for answering.   There were no errors and no warnings. It was a tiny update set.   Just that one update.

Can you preview and deploy again. If that doesn't work try to deploy the update set to any other test instance.

Hi,

We only have a dev and prod instance - can't afford a test instance.   We've already retrieved, previewed and committed it to PROD. I'm going to put in a Hi ticket.

Thanks for your suggestions.
