VSCode extension unable to login using SSO account

Hello!

I am setting up the VS Code extension - and am excited to start using VSCode as my primary editor.  I've hit a snag in login credentials.  When I use a local account creds (either basic or OAuth) it connect fine. 

When I use my "real" account it fails to connect.  We are using LDAP to sync users and SSO for authentication on all of our instances.

Is there a known issue with connecting via an account that authenticates via SSO for VSCode?

Actually SN extension only support Basic, Oauth and Multifactor authentication(MFA) that's why the authentication failed.

I have had success using oAuth in conjunction with an SSO account. I am not using the official SN extension, though, I am using one called S.N.I.C.H

The official SN extension is great, however I cannot figure out how to edit objects that are not in an app or custom scope. With the S.N.I.C.H plugin, I can sync records in the global scope, such as script includes and widgets. Perhaps I am just not understanding how to use the SN extension, and it seems to me it's geared specifically towards custom apps.

Do you know if there are plans to extend that to SSO in the near future?
