VTB lane title

Hello there!,

I builded a VTB with task and it's sorted by lanes with their parent task. The problem is I selected parent field in order to get the lane division but I need to show the name of the task not their ID number.

Is there anyway to get the name of the task instead of their ID? It's not possible to make a dot walking

Hi Leonel,

I don't have a 'name' field on pm_project_task, and the 'number' field has "Display" = true in the dictionary records for that table. I wonder what field you want to use.

I mean the short description field. I have a lot of project task cards and at the same time it's classified according to their parent task (by lanes). The only way to get their parent task in every lane is to refer the parent field but this field display the ID parent task and I need to show the short description parent task.

Hi Leonal,

I see in my instance, that 'short_description' field has a Dictionary Override defined for the 'pm_project_task' table. I would expect to see that used according to:

Define a Dictionary Override

 But then I'm not familiar with Visual Task Boards. You may want to create a Support Case, to see what is required to use the 'short_description' field there.
