A report user of ours is attempting to create reports based on CSM. He has 'Report User' and 'Report Group' roles and in a lower environment, I've even given him 'Report Admin' role. When he begins creation of a report on the sn_customerservice_case table he receives an error 'An error occured while fetching items'. This error does not prevent him from proceeding with the report, but it begs to question, what may he be missing from the report. As an admin, I don't receive this error when creating a report on this table. I've done a search in product documentation and in the community but have not found an answer to what this error means. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Karen

Also having this issue on self-hosted Paris patch 2 with admin and non-admin accounts. If anyone has advice, would be happy to hear it.

Hi
Do your different users work in different Scopes when trying to create the reports?
Do you have added any additional ACLs on the target table?
Do you have added any additional fields on the Case table, which even may have references to other tables, where the user does not have access?
Just let me know, please.

Hi Dirk
The reports the user is pulling is for Customer Service Management for which he has rights to view the data.
We do have additional ACLs on the case table, but that is to increase access for some users.
We do not have additional references to other tables on case.
Thanks,
Karen

Hi Karen
Did you already manage to solve your issue? If yes, please mark the best answer as correct to close this thread.
Otherwise, let me know about the ACLs that you have implemented extra on the Case table, which MAY interfere and cause this issue.
Did you try to set the extra ACLs inactive for testing? Maybe that shows if the ACLs are causing the issue - even that you do not expect that to be the root cause.
Let me know if that answers your question and mark my answer as correct and helpful.

We get it after upgrade to Quebec and only for non-admins.
Pre-upgrade nobody had error message.
Post-upgrade all non-admins have error message on all reports - most reports are at least months old.
