what will  happened old tickets  when existing workflow changed  in the production instance?

Scenario:  My client wants change the existing workflow , that  workflow changes moved to production instance .

Production instance tickets ,what will happened  old incidents or old tickets  ,if old incidents or old tickets open or  IN progress .

Please help me on this..

Hi,

old tickets will still be running the workflow context with earlier approach i.e. earlier workflow version

when you migrate the update set today and any ticket gets created after the migration the new workflow version will get attached

Hi RAM,

The old tickets will follow the previous workflow which was attached and will not include the additional changes that you have make to the workflow in Production.
