When case created how state come as new, open etc

when an incident/case is created why it will be in the new, open state is there any script, or workflow running background let me know how to navigate and modify it please let me know if you have any updates

Hi @Hanook 

 

You can change the default value of the "State" by configuring the dictionary. You can do it by right clicking on the state field on the incident form -> Click on Configure Dictionary

Change the Value in the default value to the value of your choice. Here the default Value "1" makes the State as New on creation of the incident record.
