Work notes entry not visible in form view

Hi experts,

 

I'm facing an issue with displaying work notes entry after it has been saved. On the form view, I've the following:

After I enter something in it and update the record, I'm not seeing the entry below the textarea. I've already checked the ACLs and Client Scripts/UI Policies and nothing is defined to hide it from the view.

 

For reference, here is the ACL related info:

(1) Column and table name it belongs to

(2) ACL defined on it

I've both the "admin" and "itil" role, so I should be able to see it on the form view. Expectation is something like the following:

Any suggestion as to what I might be missing?

Yes, that is correct, you have to show it there only.

But I've seen it working in another instance. i.e, inside activity stream work_notes is removed/filtered out but those yellow boxes still appear under the work notes field

Then you can refer to those instances and check how the form is configured in those cases and you can replicate the same.

Yeah, that's what I already did. It's mimicking those layouts but for some reason still not visible. I'm guessing some property is set true in the working instance but not in the one I'm working on.

  1. To give agents the option of having separate boxes for internal and external communications, search for and set the glide.ui.activity.journal.stacked property to true.
