Approval Tasks in Release Template Not Working

When I create approval tasks in my release template by setting "Needs Approval" to Yes and specifying an Approval Definition, the tasks are being generated but Approval Task is not being marked.

 

This issue is occurring in version 2.2.1. This worked as expected in 2.1.0.

Repair the plugin and clear your browser cache and trying logging in again.
