Dear All-
I understand the core functionalities that Digital Product Release offers during the testing phase of product development—such as task creation, integrations, policy association, and GRC integration.
However, I’m specifically looking for a solution within ITSM Pro that can support basic product testing phase capabilities, such as:
- Identifying the types of testing conducted on a product release version
- Accessing test reports, including counts of open vs. closed items
- Linking relevant ITSM objects (e.g., Incidents, Problems, or Service Requests) when defects are found
I’m aware of other options like Test Management 2.0 (from SPM, not ITSM) or Jira integration, but my focus is on what’s available within the ITSM suite itself.
I recall that in earlier versions like Paris or Quebec, we had features like Release Management 2.0, Environment Management, and possibly even Test Management (though I’m not entirely sure) as part of ITSM. I’m trying to understand if similar capabilities still exist or have evolved within the ITSM suite.
For now, it seems to me that I have to avail these using custom table quota to make it available ITSM purview and here to ask if Im missing something.
