DPM: Business Application Performance - Number of Open Incidents

I have a business app portfolio, but I've noticed that the score card " Number of Incidents" never increments when I have an open incident.  Can someone help me figure out why this is happening.

The KPI's are a day in the rears based on an overnight job.  Have you checked the following day after the incident was resolved and be sure that the incident is still related to the CI that relates to the Business Application.  For example if the incident was against the Application Service that is related to the Business Application then it should show up the following day after the job runs overnight.

The job completed. The Number of Incidents didn't increment. The incident was resolved and closed. Still seeing this though

I have the same issue for changes on a Business Application. It does not show the changes related to the Business Application.
The build tab just states: No change data configured yet
Contact your admin for more info.

The product documentation says that no configuration is needed for changes on the build tab.

If you want to see operational data (Incidents, Changes, Problems) in the Run tab of DPM, those records must reference a Service Offering.
DPM does not pull data via dependency relationships; it only surfaces records that have a direct reference to the solution type (e.g., Service Offering, Business Application, or Application Service) you are managing.
For example:
   • Incidents → Service Offering
   • Changes → Service Offering
Without this reference, the Run tab will appear empty for those KPIs

It i more that I would like to see changes on the build tab for a Business Application.
According to the manual there is no need for configuration, but as you state it only looks at offerings

to be sure:
did you enable the properties to populate the impact to Business Applications?
incident: com.snc.incident.populate_business_application
Change: com.snc.change_request.populate_business_application
