Service Portfolio vs Digital Portfolio

Any reason why a user with the portfolio_editor role can update portfolios they own in Service Portfolio Management (accessed via the menu), but not in Digital Portfolio Management (workspace)?  Same user.  Same portfolio.  They can edit it one way, but not the other.   

 

Not sure if this is the way it works or if we are missing something in our config setup.
