Clone steps and process-Production to UAT.

Hello,

 Could anyone suggest the necessary steps to be followed during pre-clone and post-clone process like preserve tables,exclude tables,clean up script etc and also post clone activity.

Already reviewed Knowledge article based on Cloning process.But still could anyone provide exact steps on data which is to be preserved and excluded on target instance (UAT) apart from out of box data.

Also,if any other necessary steps to be followed during the cloning..

There is mismatch between sys_id between UAT and Prod.

Is it recommended to preserve and exclude user table on UAT or can i only preserve user table on UAT.

Could you suggest your idea on this.

Use Preserve to safeguard environment-specific settings or configurations.

Use Exclude to prevent unnecessary or large tables from being cloned.

When used together, Preserve and Exclude ensure the table remains exactly as it was before cloning
