Add a custom taxonomy

Hi,

I am a newbie to Employee Center. From the ServiceNow documentation, I can see the Taxonomies  appear on the Employee Center Navbar and you can create your own. I have created a custom Taxonomy with child topics and associated content but it doesn't seem to be appearing on the Navbar. I have also tried cloning the existing Employee taxonomy but doesn't seem to help either. 

 

Any child topics I am creating under IT with associated are also not appearing as part of the Mega menu. 

 

Not sure what I am missing. Can anyone help?

Steps are given below-

 

Step 1: Before You Begin. Go to Posts > Add New page. 
Step 2: Creating a New Plugin. Register the Taxonomy “course” for the post type “post” using the init action hook. 
Step 3: Review the Result. Activate your plugin, then go to Posts > Add New.
